A SPECTACULAR HOLIDAY MUSICAL
Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim
Book by James Lapine
Presented by TheatreWorks
Tony Award, Best Musical Revival 2002
Back at last, TheatreWorks' triumphant, spellbinding hit is home for the
holidays in a glorious new production! This bewitching musical follows a gaggle
of beguiling fairytale favorites into a metaphorical woods, there to discover
the nature of growing up, the need for taking responsibility, and the true
meaning of family. Witty and profound for adults, a delight for mature
youngsters, Sondheim's entrancing masterpiece dazzles with glorious music and
thoughtprovoking laughter.
"Flawless, enchanted production...everything a musical should be" - San
Francisco Chronicle
$21 for children and $45 for adults
Since this is a holiday event, expedition members and their families are invited. Due to the limited number of tickets, though, please limit your ticket request to family members.
Secure your tickets as follows:
- email
with your adult and student ticket counts, and use a Subject line of “TB Into
the Woods Tickets”
- write a check for all your tickets payable to Brian, and mail it to:
Brian Berg
14500 Big Basin Way, Suite F
Saratoga, CA 95070
Ticket requests will be queued up based on the order in which emails are received. This will determine seat location. There will probably be about enough tickets for all those who are interested, but receipt of your check will insure your spot in the queue. Brian will distribute tickets at the front door – this will allow for inevitable last minute changes.
The plan is to coordinate this event with a service activity, at the
Family Giving Tree in the morning
and with dinner prior to the show.
You and your family are invited to participate in any or all of these three activities, depending on your schedule. Further details will be forthcoming.
The Lucie Stern Theatre is on Middlefield Road near Embarcadero Rd., and near “Christmas Tree Lane.” The latter is a 2-block stretch of Fulton St. south of Embarcadero Rd. that has been decorated by the City of Palo Alto for the Holidays since 1940.
