Possible Events

The following events have been discussed and received at least one vote from a sample of four children. Please let us know if you have a preference for future events: 

• Kayaking at Elkhorn Slough 
• Earthquakes game
• River rafting (Truckee River?)
• Raging Waters
• Yosemite weekend
• Angel Island: any or all of biking/hiking/overnighter
• Road Rally: sound like fun, but probably lots of work
• Beach trip
• Model rocket day
• Ski trip

• Elephant seals (Año Nuevo)
• Whale watching boat trip
• Cycling trip
• Parent dinner: kids prepare meal and show for parents; YMCA supervises cooking
• Alcatraz trip
• Soap box derby (lots of work)
• Day hike
• The Tech Museum
