Events 2005-2006

Here is the current schedule of events for the 2005-2006 season. More details will emerge as these events are planned and as new ones are added.

  • October: Fall Campout - Manresa State Beach

  • November: Kayaking at Elkhorn Slough

  • December: Family Giving Tree Service Event / Dinner / Musical - for all family members - details

  • January: Alcatraz - for all family members

  • March 3-5: Ski Trip, Dodge Ridge - details

  • March: Bicycle Rally - A Treasure Hunt on Bicycles

  • April: Sailing on the Bay

  • May: Spring Campout - Yosemite National Park

  • June: Service Event at Sacred Heart Community Center, followed by a swimming party at the YMCA

  • October 7,8,9: Fall Campout, Coordinator: Jim Hollenhorst

  • Saturday, December 10: Family Event - Family Giving Tree, Dinner, and a Holiday Musical, Coordinator: Brian Berg

  • 1-3 PM: Service event at the Family Giving Tree

  • 8 PM: "Into the Woods" - a Stephen Sondheim holiday musical at the Lucie Stern Theater 

    • Event Details - Follow the instructions to reserve your ticket

    • All family members are welcome to participate

  • After the play: Christmas Tree Lane, Fulton Street, Palo Alto

Vasona Lake County Park
  • This will be a bicycle version of our very popular "Road Rally" from last year An elaborate treasure hunt done on bicycles in the area of Vasona Park and the percolation ponds.

  A service event, possibly at Sacred Heart Community Center.
  • We are looking for someone to champion this event. It would be fun to finish with a swim party at someone's home.
